The Jatayu Giants team led by Harish Gowda won the second season of Television Cricket League against Gang Garudas on Saturday. The event was held at a residential school ground in Bengaluru. Chasing a target of 72 runs, the Jatayu Giants managed it in nine overs and won the trophy.
An excited Harish says, “I dedicate this
victory
to Harsha Gowda, who got injured in the semifinals. As Harsha got injured, I led the team in the finale. The credit of this victory has to go to the entire team for their efforts. It would have been nice if we had people cheering for us, but because of the pandemic spectators were barred from the ground”
The tournament was inaugurated by senior actor Mukyamantri Chandru, former cricketer NC Aiyappa and actor Yuva Rajkumar. The brand ambassadors of the leagues are Sukrutha, Supritha Sathyanarayan,

This was the second edition of the Television Cricket League, which is on the lines of the Celebrity Cricket League. The organisers rare confident of continuing to play the League next year too.
