It’s a fun to be part of Majaa Talkies team, says Deepa Bhaskar

Actress Deepa Bhaskar, who was last seen on the small screen in the serial Subblalakshmi, has joined the Majaa Talkies family as Urmilaa. The popular weekend comedy is hosted by Srujan Lokesh.
Deepa says, “I come from a theatre background, so comedy is not new to me. Also, my character in Subbalakshmi Samsara had a bit of comedy track, so it is not difficult to play Urmilaa on Majaa Talkies.I knew Srujan even before he started Majaa Talkies, so he might have known about comic skills. When the team approached me, I thought of giving it a try. Shooting for Majaa Talkies requires two days in a week, which is not the case with serials that have hectic shooting schedules.” Majaa Talkies has artistes like Kuri Prathap, Mandya Ramesh, Tharanga Vishwa, Shwetha Changappa, Aparna and Pawan Kumar.
Deepa Bhaskar who is also a voice-over artiste is not keen to return to serials for a few more months as she is on a break. Deepa has dubbed for over 250 Kannada films in Sandalwood, including popular films like Jogi, Mungaru Male, Duniya, Saarathi, Gaja, Raam, Just Math Mathalli and Paramathma, among others.
