I won’t quit television: Niranjan Deshpande
RJ, VJ and actor Niranjan Deshpande, who is gearing up for the release of Bombay Mittai, seems to be flooded with offers in Sandalwood. “I have discussed three different scripts, owing to television commitments I haven’t given nod to act in any of these movies,” he says. Niranjan has also acted in the movie titled Players, directed by Naveen and Ganesh.
Will he quit television once he gets busy with films? “Not at all, I have earned loads of love from many people by hosting the television shows.
Though I get busy in Sandalwood, I will devote some days of the week to host shows. Moreover, working as Video Jockey has given me immense satisfaction,” he replies. About his role in Bombay Mittai, he says, “It is the character which has negative shades. Even in players my character has bit of grey shades.” Incidentally, the other lead characters in the movie Bombay Mittai, Chikkanna and Vikram also come from television background. Bombay Mittai, directed by Chandramohan, has Disha Pandey in the female lead.
