Hero world television premiere on Sunday

Kannada movie Hero, which got released in cinema halls across Karnataka on March 5, will be aired on television on Sunday at 7 pm. The film has Rishab Shetty and Ganavi Laxman in lead roles and is helmed by debutant director Bharath Raj.
The dark comedy genre, which is unusual in Kannada films, has been tried in hero. In the movie, the male protagonist, played by Rishab Shetty, meets the female protagonist, played by Ganavi Laxman, who is married to a local don.Though they both were in a relationship, due to various reasons, she gets married to a different guy which adds a twist to the tale. As she faces physical abuse from her husband, she kills him by hitting him on the head with a pressure cooker. When her ex-boyfriend enters the house, they both try to escape the house that is surrounded by his henchmen.
The project marked Ganaxi Laxman’s debut in Sandalwood. Some of the songs of the movie, like Nenapina Hudugiya and Baananchinge Oduva Baara, became popular among viewers. Ajaneesh B Loknath has composed the music. The film was shot in Chikkamagaluru in pristine locations during the lockdown period.
