Got rejected from a movie because the makers felt I would dominate the hero in the movie: Bhavish Gowda

Actor Bhavish is currently winning the hearts of the viewers with his performance in Katheyondu Shuruaagide. Interestingly, he plays a baddie in the show, whose constant conspiracies and flamboyant attitude add some extra spice to an otherwise simple tale.
Speaking about the same with ETimes TV, Bhavish said, "Since I played the lead role in my previous show, I did give it a thought before accepting a role of a baddie in Katheyondu Shuruaagide.My on-screen character, Samrath, is a baddie in the show. There were a lot of thoughts that were running in my mind. But, since Katheyondu Shuruaagide is a remake, I got a chance to watch the original Bengali show. I just liked the character."
He added, "Many big actors got their biggest break in their acting career only after playing a baddie. So, I felt I should give it a try as well. I am not an established actor yet. But, I felt this could be a new feather on my cap. I just want to give my best in every on-character I play. Hence I took up Samrat's character."
The actor spoke about getting into the skin of Samrat's character, as well.
"There was not much preparation to me for this particular character. Samrat is like any other man but he flirts a lot with young girls. By the time we could complete 25 episodes in the show, Samrath has flirted with five girls. This was a little new to me. Otherwise, when it comes to mannerisms and everything, I'm just taking it easy," says Bhavish.
Further, the actor avers that he has hardly received any negative response from the viewers for his on-screen character.
Speaking about it, he said, "Luckily, even though I play a baddie, I have not received any ill comments for my acting. Instead, many say that enjoy my acting and the way I pull off Samrat's character on-screen. There are times when I have received comments from fans that they wished to see me as the hero of the story. Despite hailing from a different background and not having a godfather in the industry, it feels blessed to have gained much love from all the viewers."
Having talked about entering the entertainment industry with zero support, Bhavish talks about his journey to showbiz.
"I joined an acting course post my engineering graduation. My first show was Hoo Male. After that, I got to play a lead in Madhumagalu. I even did a few episodes in Kannadati and currently, I am playing Samrat in Katheyondu Shruvagide. So, it has been quite a journey for me. I am only happy for getting better opportunities. But just like any other artist, I also want to make it big on the silver screen," shares Bhavish.
He continued by saying, "My efforts will never be limited. I am trying my best to make my dream come true with full dedication. I have grabbed all the opportunities that have come my way. Also, I don't shy away from giving auditions and trying new platforms. At the same time, I have faced pleasant rejections in my acting career so far."
Bhavish further signed off by saying, "Rejections shouldn't always be seen in a negative way. I have been rejected from a movie because the makers felt I would dominate the hero in the movie. So, this was something that made me feel my worth on the screen. I know something big is coming my way. But, I just need to keep working to reach there. In the end, all I want is to be recognised as a full-fledged actor."
