In the latest episode of Gattimela, Vedanth admonishes Suhasini for putting a garland on his father, Suryanarayana's photo. He talks about his father still being alive and says he believes in it. Adhya and Sarthak are in shock.
However, Suhasini feels pride as she is able to spoil the peace of mind of the family members. Vaidehi later looks at Suryanarayana's photo and remembers all the happy times they both spent together earlier. She too believes that her husband, Suryanarayana is still alive and tries to console herself.
On the contrary, Vedhanth is furious and disappointed with the situation around him. As he feels dejected about failing to fulfil his promise to Vikrant, Amulya tries to boost his morale. She asks Vedanth to have patience as everything will take time for good things to happen. Vedanth gains confidence and decides to learn the motive behind his father staying with Agni.
Elsewhere, Suhasini sees Vaidehi talking to Suryanarayana's photo. The duo engage in an argument and Vaidehi talks about revealing the truth to her sons and daughter. Later, in the form of narrating a story, Suhasini tells Vaidehi about Vikrant's death. Vaidehi is shocked and unable to digest the facts regarding Vikranth's death.
