Gattimela completes 400 episodes

Popular Kannada serial Gattimela which has topped TRP charts consistently has successfully completed 400 episodes. The serial directed by Anil has Rakksh and Nisha Ravikrishnan in led roles.
The story portrays the struggles of a lower-middle class family which has four daughters and a rich family which has two sons. Rakksh and Nisha are portraying are the role of Vednath Vasishta and Amulya who is called as ‘Rowdy Baby’ in the serial because of her attitude.The story also showcases how Parimala and Manjunatha who are into catering business struggles to get their daughters married.
The show marked a comeback of Rakksh to the small screen. He was seen in the serial Puttagowri Maduve as Mahesha. The serials alo has Ashwini, Priya Achar, Abhishek Das, Sharanya Shetty, Ranjan, and many other eminent faces of Kannada industry.
Senio actress Sudha Narasimharaju returned to acting with Gattimela. She had said, I thank people for showering me with so much love as Parimala. She is a mother of four daughters, and since I come from a joint family, it was easy for me to portray her. I had taken a very long break from acting after I had my son. The way people have accepted me as Parimala is just overwhelming. I am enjoying working with all the young actors.”
