Kannada TV celebs talk about their bonding with daddy dearest

It's Father's day today. The day to wish fathers and grandfathers, the people who have taught us everything that we did not learn in school. On the occasion of Father's day, ETimes TV got in touch with a few Kannada celebs who opened up about their bond with their daddy dearest.

2/7

Yamuna Shrinidhi

From having trouble recognizing people and forming new memories, in just a span of more than a year my father has completely lost memory, now unable to recognize anyone. We have witnessed this incurable disease from very close quarters as my father is affected with Alzheimer's. He has always nurtured us with the best of the best. Now, I feel it is our turn to look after him.

3/7

Ashita Chandrappa

Every time I would tell my father about my passion for acting, he would always object to it. I was being very arrogant and stepped out. Now after witnessing a few incidents in my career, I realize why my father always warned me not to enter the industry and I regret ignoring his words.

4/7

Vinay Gowda

I did not have much attachment with my father since childhood. We had a lot of differences between us and now seeing my son grow in front of me, makes me realise how precious it is to have an attachment with your son. Dad used to teach me a lot of Panchatantra stories with morals in it. He used to relate our lives to those stories and recite it. Back then, I would never understand anything about it and I had my own way of thinking. Now at every corner of my career, I realise how true his words were.

5/7

Pavan Kumar

My dad taught me to face the challenges in life with the game of chess and mahabharat stories. He made me realise how good it feels to be independent and when I was hit the rock bottom in life he just spoke to me for two minutes and that two-minute conversation gave me so much clarity about life. His words were so powerful that he made me realise my worth in just two minutes and saved me from taking the worst decision of my life.

6/7

Dileep Shetty

I lost my father when Takadhimitha was on-air. He was my backbone and supported me in everything I do in my life. My father was indeed my best friend and the biggest support system. So, there was a time when I had thoughts of quitting the show because of the loss of my father.

7/7

Varshitha Seni

My entire life came upside down as I lost my father and grandmother due to COVID-19 complications. He meant the life to me. No matter what, he would always be there for me. He made sure to settle our life way before. He got me married to a wonderful family and has always taken the best decision for me. What more can I ask for.

Nice incidents and thoughts shared of certain celebrities with their touching relationship with their parents who took pains in bringing them up .....some of us remember and recollect when they are no more .....some have memories when they happen to bring up their own kids and feel the pain which their own parents took .....some remember when they happen to be far away and feel the vacuum ....SO IT ALL DEPENDS ON ONE'S OWN THINKING & CIRCUMSTANCE BUT AT TIMES WE CANNOT SAY OR EXPRESS THE PAIN ....DEEP IN OUR HEART.....
