From Ankita Amar to Ramola: Actors who quit their popular shows mid-way amidst growing popularity

There are many circumstances when actors bid adieu to their popular shows and on-screen characters. While some walk out mid-way due to personal reasons, a few get axed from their shows. Here is a list of a few actors who have quit their shows mid-way recently amidst earning much fame from the viewers.

Although Ankita made her acting debut at a tender age, it was daily soap Nammane Yuvarani that gave her immense fame. Ankita's onscreen character Meera from the daily soap was much loved by many. Eventually, the actress became the girl-next door. However, nearly after three years of portraying Meera's character, Ankita has quit Nammane Yuvarani midway. She is currently busy with two silver screen projects.

Not just Ankita, Deepak Gowda, who played the male protagonist in the daily soap Nammane Yuvarai, has also quit the show midway. In fact, Ankita and Deepak, quit Nammane Yuvarani together. This indeed left their fans disappointed.

Ninaad's exit from Naagini 2 came in as a shocker to many. Although Naagini 2 was his debut project, Ninaad turned out to be everyone's favorite within a very short span of time. He is currently seen as one of the participants in the couple-based reality show Jodi No. 1 alone with wife Ramya.

The actor, who was seen playing the character Abhi in Anna Thangi, called it quits owing to other commitments. The fact that the actor has quit the daily soap after prepping for his directorial debut with a Kannada movie cannot be ignored. He recently had a traditional inauguration of his debut Kannada movie.

Bhavana made her television comeback with the daily soap ‘Ramachari’. She essayed the character of Manyatha, who is a very powerful and influential woman in the town. However, the reason behind her exit from the daily soap remains unclear.

Actress Mansi Joshi, who was seen playing the role of one of the female lead characters in the daily soap 'Anna Thangi' also quit the show before Rajesh Dhruva. Although rumors were rife that the actress has quit the show owing to personal commitments, the actual behind her decision to quit the daily soap is yet to be revealed.

Karthik Mahesh has quit Puttakana Makkalu after he bagged the lead role in the newly launched daily soap Rajee. Although Puttakkana Makkalu gave the actor the fame he had been wishing for, he had issues with the shoot dates which became quite a challenge to balance both projects. Hence, Karthik opted to quit Puttakkana Makkalu.

Gagan quitting daily soap Mangala Gowri Maduve has left his fan followers disappointed. The actor had been associated with the show ever since the makers changed the storyline and title from Putta Gowri Maduve to Mangala Gowri Maduve. Gagan has indeed become a household name for his on-screen character 'Inspector Rajeev'.

Yet another shocker news for avid Kannadati serial followers was the exit of actress Ramola. The former shot to fame with her on-screen character 'Sanya' in the daily soap 'Kannadati'. The daily soap even marked the acting debut of the actress. However, she bid adieu to the daily soap midway owing to personal reasons. She was very tight-lipped about her exit from the show and never mentioned it anywhere until actress Arohi Naina replaced her in the show.
