Former Bigg Boss contestant, actor and writer Chaitra Kotoor will be seen in a guest appearance in the upcoming female-centric film Ondu Dina Ondu Kshana, directed by Alwin Francis.
Chaitra has wrapped up shooting for the movie.
Speaking to us, Chaitra says, “I play the role of an upright Deputy Commissioner who always strives for the betterment of society, especially regarding women’s issues.
She tries to get rid of social taboos surrounding menstruation, etc. Though it is a small role, it adds a twist to the plot.” Veeresh is the cinematographer and Vijay Yardley is the music director.
Chaitra, who was last seen on the small screen in the serial Lagna Patrika as a vamp, is keen to return back to TV. She adds, “I am open to acting in serials as well as films. The character that I get to play should impress me. There are a few offers, but the pandemic is delaying them. I am also looking at directing a movie soon.”
In recent times, Chaitra had also made her debut as a rapper with the track called Hudugaru Thumba Olleyavaru, which got a positive response.
