Former Bigg Boss Kannada season 6 contestant and RJ 'Rapid' Rashmi is extremely saddened over the sudden demise of her bestie and fellow RJ, Rachana. Rashmi and Rachana had been good friends for a long time now.
Speaking to Kannada media about her friendship with Rachana, Rashmi said, "Our friendship goes back to the days even before we started my career as an RJ.
We used to host events back then. Ever since, we have been good buddies and even used to hang out together often. It was basically one of those little carefree days for us."
Expressing her shock over Rachana's untimely demise, Rashmi shared that the former was very conscious about her health.
"Rachana was very particular about her health. Even her food habits were very clear. She would often prefer proper food in the right portion at the right time. Rachana would often take me to eat outs which mainly had salads. She used to love munching on salads most of the time," shared Rashmi with media.
However, Rashmi reveals that she was not able to stay connected with Rachana over the past few months after the latter quit her profession.
"Of late, I was not that connected with Rachana, especially after she quit her profession as an RJ. I did not get any chance to talk to her in person. Right now, I feel shattered. Rachana always mentioned that she wanted to adopt a baby. I was very impressed by her thought and even supported her decision. But, I guess destiny had its own plot for her. It's saddening. I don't know what to say. Just feeling numb and yet to come to terms with the fact that she is no more," summed up Rashmi.

To the uninitiated, popular Kannada Radio Jockey Rachana reportedly died on Tuesday due to a cardiac arrest. She was 39. According to reports, Rachana complained of chest pain at her flat in JP Nagar and she was rushed to a nearby hospital where she was declared 'brought dead'.
