What was your reason to go into the house?
A lot of people are curious about going into the Bigg Boss house and finding out what it is all about. The past few years have seen my name in the probables list. I was supposed to go into the house from the start of the season, but couldn't due to technical reasons. Eventually, I got to go in as a wild card entrant. I wanted to understand the experience. I also could reach people and get them to know me as a creative person.

You were the disruptor on the show. Did you intend to enter like that?
I had mentally prepared myself. I saw monotony creep in the house. I am someone who is straight and direct. I wanted to live up to the wild card title and wanted to mark my presence. Sudeep sir, in fact, recently told me that my entry had created uneasiness to an extent that a few wanted to leave the house without elimination. (laughs)

Did your background in psychology help you?
As a psychology student I tried to understand the contestants. I tried to understand their strengths, weaknesses and personality. I wanted to connect with them. The psychology that I studied helped me. I used it in the first few weeks. I then realised that I had to be friendly with them and stopped roasting them once I built a rapport with them.

Do you think you achieved your purpose on the show?
I think I have. I had seen how the house had got into a monotonous rhythm. The people stopped entertaining. They had got into pairs. It had become Cubbon Park, so I wanted to change it to Tipu Drop. I made the game interesting and this is what people have told me too. I feel good.

What were your learnings on the show?
I have learnt that I need to say the things I have said without being rude. I never knew I had so many female fans, which I got to know once I got out. I got to reflect and understand myself well too.

What do you feel you could have changed in hindsight?
I feel I should have entered early. I also feel that I shouldn't have helped

Prashanth Sambargi

as he lacked gratitude, even though I helped change his image on the show and helped him as a friend.

What's lined up next?
I am getting a lot of offers in films in various capacities. The songs I wrote in the house have ensured I have got offers to write lyrics. I am also getting a lot of offers for acting. I have five films in the pipeline, where makers like Aravind Kaushik are writing roles especially for me. I also got an offer from a

Malayalam

film team for acting. Apart from that, I plan to direct a film where I will give

Vishwanath Haveri

a chance to compose.
