' will be premiering in Kannada as '
Son of Savitramma
'.
Although it is a Telugu show, Son of Savitramma has created a buzz among the audience as it features Kannada television's very own actor '
Chandan Kumar'.
Chandan made his Telugu debut with the show Savitramma gari Abbayi. He plays the lead role in the show.
The new dubbed serial is about Balaraju, a young handsome wrestler and the most eligible bachelor in the village. While he can easily make women go weak in the knees and has a good female fan base to boast about too, he is hobbled by his word to his mother.

Ayesha, who will be seen playing the role of female protagonists.
On the other hand, Kannada television has been witnessing a lot of dubbed content of late. Naagakannike, Drushti, Katheya Rajkumari, Lakshmi stores, Mahanayaka Dr B R Ambedkar are some of the dubbed shows.
Besides these, dubbed mythological series like Mahabharata, Devaki Nandana, Radha Krishna, Om Namah Shivaya are also being aired. These shows have managed to grab the eyeballs of the viewers and scoring well on the TRP charts too.
