Actress Divya Wagukar has returned to the small screen with a major role in the serial

, which has Chandan Kumar and Shilpa Shetty in lead roles.

As per the promo, Divya, plays the role of Spandana, is forcibly married to

SP Vikranth Nayak

, played by Chandan Kumar. The makers are yet to reveal more about her character in the serial. The actress, who is excited to be part of the project, has been sharing the promo of Marali Manasagide on her Instagram page. The show is the remake of the Hindi show Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. The show, which is likely to premiere in the month of August, has increased the curiosity of viewers with it’s promos.

Divya had earlier acted in serials like

Mangalyam Tantunaena

and Shravani. She even made her silver screen debut with Light Aagi Love Agide, directed and produced by Gururaj Gadadi. In her last outing in Geetha, Divya essayed the role of Dasavala who is a tribal girl. She was seen only in a few episodes.
