Disha Madan to play a cameo in upcoming daily soap 'Tripura Sundari'

After her stint with the reality show 'Ismart Jodi' along with her husband, Disha Madan is set to make her acting comeback. The actress will be playing a cameo role in the upcoming daily soap 'Tripura Sundari' which will be airing on a leading Kannada general entertainment channel.
Disha will be seen as queen Uthkala in the show. This will be for the first time the actress will be seen as a queen in her acting career.Going by the latest promo released by the channel airing the show, queen Uthkala is seen running to save her infant son's life from the enemies. She gives him a sacred gold chain that will be with him and protect him.
On the other hand, Disha's entry in the promo has earned many praises from fans. The actress took to her social media handle to give a quick glimpse of how she looked 'before' and 'after' her makeover as queen Uthkala. Sidha looks ravishing in her queen attire. She also mentioned that it is the first time she is wearing a crescent-shaped bindi in her life as the character demanded it. Adding to it, Disha even mentioned that she was also wearing a nose pin after a very long time in her life. She averred that she had last worn a nose pin back when she used to give Bharatanatyam performances.
On a career front, dancer by profession, Disha made her television debut with the dance reality show Dancing star season 1 as a partner for Tsunami Kitty, who was a celebrity contestant. The duo even bagged the trophy during the season.
She was then seen playing the role of Vachana in a popular daily soap Kulavadhu. Unfortunately, she left the show as she wanted to help her father in his business. However, she has been very active on social media and has turned out to be a popular influencer. Disha is also active on the OTT platforms.
