Soumya Bhat
, who shot to fame playing Medha's character in Lakshmi Baramma, was once a high school teacher. She started her career as a teacher in Dakshina Kannada, which is also her hometown.
The actress completed her graduation in Sanskrit in RSVP College in Tirupathi and joined a well-known school in her native as a Sanskrit teacher. Soumya was enjoying her profession to the fullest and was one of the most popular teachers among the students.
Besides being a successful teacher, Soumya was also a social media enthusiast. Little did she know that her social media profile handle would fetch her a chance in the entertainment industry.
