Darshan's Roberrt to come to television soon

Challenging Star Darshan's Roberrt, was inching towards 50 days at the box office, when the second wave of the pandemic forced theatres to shut down yet again. The film, which paired Darshan with Asha Bhat, was one of the most-anticipated films of the year and did fairly well at the box office. Now we hear that the makers are looking at bringing it to an even wider audience, by taking it to TV. The air date and timing is yet to be announced by the channel, but rest assured they will look for a good window.

The film, which got released on March 11, managed to enthrall cinephiles by living up to expectations, especially Darshan fans. The Challenging Star, in his two characters Raghava (a chef) and Roberrt (an underworld criminal) sizzles on screen. Vinod Prabhakar, in the role of Roberrt's friend, also excelled. Asha Bhat played Amrutha, who returns to India after completing her studies abroad and falls in love with Raghava. The project has an ensemble stars cast, which includes Jagapathi Babu, Ravishankar, Aishwarya Prasad, Sonal Monteiro, Dileep R Shetty, Ashok, and Naveen D Padil. The project is directed by Tharun Sudhir and Sudhakar S Raj is the cinematographer, while Arjun Janya has composed music.
