is all set to have a new timeslot. The show, which has been aired at primetime until now, will be aired at 5 PM. The channel airing the show has rescheduled the timings of the daily soap since it is gearing up for the launch of new shows.
While Kanyakumari has been scheduled to air at the evening hour, a new daily soap is likely to replace its timeslot.
Kanyakumari marks the debut of model-turned-actress Asiya Firdose on the small screen. The project is produced and directed by Raghu Charan Tiptur.
Asiya is seen in the role of a devout girl called Kannika. The crux of the story is that

Speaking about her on-screen character with ETimes TV in an earlier interview Yamuna said, "Dhanalakshmi is a typical lower-middle-class innocent yet very responsible mother. Her family and children mean the world to her. She struggles to lead the family as her husband is an irresponsible person. Yet, Dhanalakshmi still fights against all odds to ensure her children have a bright future."
