The dubbed version of Hindi television series CID will be on Udaya TV from June 22 at 9:30pm . The show which went on air in 1998 is said to be one of the longest running television series in India. The last episode was aired on 27th October 2018. The suspense thriller is directed and produced by BP Singh, while Pradeep Uppoor and Christabelle D’souza are the creative directors.

The serial, which is set in Mumbai, has been shot in various locations across India. CID was also shot in Uzbekistan, Paris, Berne and Zurich. The major shoot happened in Paris and Switzerland for a two hour special episode Aakhri Chunauti to mark the 13th anniversary celebrations. CID got into both the Limca Book of Records and the Guinness Book of World Records for the record-breaking-single shot episode of 111 minutes.
