Covid-19: It is important to help the underprivileged, says actor Kiran Raj

Amid the Coronavirus lockdown, actor Kiran Raj is trying to create awareness on the lethal virus and pandemic.

He was recently spotted distributing masks and sanitizers for the underprivileged and a few watchmen at ATM centres in rural Bangalore.

In a chat with ETimes TV, the actor said, "It is important for everyone to stay safe and healthy. I request everyone to do help the underprivileged as their hygiene is also important. People who beg at signals have to be given personal awareness about the virus as their safety is also important."

Kiran further adds, "I requested everyone to stay safe at their respective homes and spend quality time with their family members. We should be united in fighting against the novel Coronavirus and should not panic in a crisis situation like this."

Besides, the actor was earlier seen wearing a mask during the shoot hours on the sets of the popular Kannada daily soap Kannadati. He is currently in his Bangalore residence spending his quarantine days along with his mother and pets.
