Comedy Khiladigalu is very close to my heart, says Master Anand

began, Master Anand has been an integral part of the

as its

, maintaining the energy on the stage and ensuring contestants give their best.

On hosting weekend comedy show Comedy Khiladigalu, Anand says, “Comedy Khiladigalu is very close to my heart as I get to meet new people and budding actors from different strata of society from whom even I can learn a lot. I am enjoying my stint as a television host, which requires completely a different set of skills.”

Master Anand, who had taken a break from direction is now back with a new soap opera, tentatively titled Bhoomige Bandha Bhagavantha. He had last directed a suspense thriller

serial

called Nigooda Ratri, which went off air in 2019. In an earlier interview with us Anand had said, “The moment people hear that I am directing a serial, they might think I am doing a comedy serial, but this time I am taking up a subject which has a social relevance, and, of course there will be a bit of family and comedy element. Even I will be seen in a pivotal role in the serial.”
