Chandu Gowda’s Telugu horror show comes to Kannada as Trinayini

On March 8, a new supernatural show will start airing on TV. Called Trinayani, this

one

is the

Kannada

dubbed version of a

Telugu

show, which, incidentally, has Chandu B Gowda and Ashika Padukone as part of its cast.

Trinayani

now joins the growing list of shows dubbed into Kannada on TV since the pandemic. It was originally made in Bengali and began airing in 2019, following which it was remade in Telugu. The show follows the story of a girl who can foresee the future.

The show, we hear, was supposed to start airing from March 1, but had to be pushed ahead by a week following technical issues.

Back in January 2020, when

Chandu

had signed up for the project, he had said, “ This serial seemed just right as it comes from a prestigious banner and has a storyline that is interesting and I could not refuse.” At the time, the actor had maintained that his mainstay would remain Kannada TV and cinema, but that a show like Trinayani would allow him to test waters in a different market. Now that it is coming to Kannada audiences, Chandu, who is also hosting the Kannada show Chat Corner is thrilled.
