Celebrity couple Shashi Hegde - Lavanya to participate in Jodi No 1 season 2

Kannada television's much-loved real celebrity couple Shashi Hegde and Lavanya will now be seen together as contestants in the upcoming season of Jodi No 1. The couple will be seen as one of the contestants among the twelve celebrity couples in the show. This will be the first reality show stint for the couple post their wedding.

Introducing Shashi-Lavanya
The channel airing the show has confirmed the participation of the couple by sharing a promo. In the promo, the couple is seen taking a compatibility test among themselves. While Lavanya asks which is her favorite colour to her husband, the latter responds giving the wrong answer which leaves the former very irritated.

As they are seen prepping and gearing up for the new season of Jodi No 1, the judges, Malvika and Prem are seen saying that the upcoming season is likely to be more interesting and different than the previous one.
Shashi-Laav's marriage story
The couple got married the previous year, 2022. They tied the knot in a grand traditional wedding in North Karnataka. The wedding was attended only by their close friends and family members.

On the other hand, besides Shashi and Lavanya, other celebrity couples like Sunetra Pandit-Ramesh Pandit, Anand-Chaithra, Sadananda-Netra, Chidananda-Kavita, Yashwanth Sardeshpande-Malathi Sardeshpande, Ganesh Karanth-Srividhya have been roped in to participate in Jodi No 1 season 2.

Season 2 of Jodi No 1 is set to premiere on September 9 on a leading Kannada general entertainment channel that airs other reality shows like Dance Karnataka dance, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, Bharjari Bachelors and many others.
