would take off later this month. We now have it that one of the most popular names in Kannada television will be a part of the season. Actress Geetha Bharathi Bhat, who is the lead actress of

Bramhagantu

, will be a contestant this season, we're told.

A source close to the actress tells us, "Yes, Geetha is all set to be a contestant on this year's show. She will be entering the house later this month. To ensure that the show is on track during her time in the house, Geetha and the rest of the team has been clocking in extra hours to bank a reasonable number of episodes in advance." In Bramhagantu, Geetha plays the protagonist in the serial, which is the remake of the Hindi soap

Badho Bahu

. Geetha coincidentally plays a girl named Geetha, who is married to a fit kabaddi player and the serial traces their relationship.

Geetha also remained in news in 2020 when she was called in for an inquiry by the Internal Security Department with regards to the ongoing fight against the drug menace in the state.
