Bigg Boss Kannada 8: Nirmala Chenappa nominates herself; Nidhi Subbiah and Shubha Poonji call it 'unfair'

Bigg Boss Kannada not only got its first captain but also witnessed the first nominations of the season. Dhanushree, Nidhi Subbiah, Shankar Ashwath, Manju Pavagad, Prashanth Sambargi were initially the nominated contestants of the first week. However, captain Shamath Gowda saved Shankar from nominations.
Apart from the nomination procedure, Nirmala Chanappa opted to nominate herself as she felt she did not give her best during the task.According to the group task, the respective team members were asked to balance a stack of blocks using a rope. While the teams were at their competitive best, Team 'red', which had Nidhi, Shubha, Nirmala, and Dhanushree could not match the rest of the teams.
Eventually, they were in the danger zone. Bigg Boss further asked Nirmala, Dhanushree, Nidhi, and Shubha to unanimously choose a contestant as the worst performer of the task. After a small discussion, Nirmala opted to nominate herself as she felt she did not perform well in the task. Although Nidhi and Shubha objected Nirmala's decision, the latter managed to convince them.
However, in a shocking turn of events, Bigg Boss announced that Nirmala is directly nominated for the present week's nomination and asked her to pack her luggage and leave it in the storeroom. Nidhi and Shubha got upset and called it 'unfair'. They find ways to convince Nirmala to change her decision.
