Ankita Amar paid a musical tribute to legendary singer
Lata Mangeshkar. She crooned popular songs sung by the
Nightingale of India
and shared those on her social media account.
Ankita mentioned that it is one of her favourite songs sung by the veteran singer.
"Farewell Nightingale
You are eternal, you are an asset!
A small tribute for your farewell from your fan. This song remains to be my favourite song of yours. Your voice will echo in our hearts forever," (sic) reads Ankita's post on Instagram handle.

Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar passed away at the age of 92. She was admitted to Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital on January 8 after she tested positive for Covid-19. She was under treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) over the past couple of weeks. After showing signs of improvement recently, her health condition deteriorated. She breathed her last yesterday (February 6). Her last rites were performed at Shivaji Park in Mumbai.
