has yet another feather in her hat. The actress, who had been juggling between her studies and acting career, recently graduated as an engineer from a noted college in Bengaluru.

Sharanya shared pictures from her graduation ceremony on her official Instagram handle. The actress looked confident as she was draped in the usual graduation robe on her big day.

Sharanya had been studying engineering when she made her debut into the showbiz world. She shot to fame as

in the show Gattimela. Speaking about how she managed time between shootings and studies in an earlier interview with ETimes TV, the actress said, "I accepted

only because the makers told me that the shoot will be for only fifteen days a month. So I thought I could balance between my college and shooting. But then, it's entirely different now. I hardly get time to attend my classes.”

Besides being an engineering graduate, Sharanya's career seems to be on the right track as she is all set to make her silver screen debut. Speaking about her debut,

said, "I am eagerly waiting for the launch of my debut movie. The team is planning for a theatrical release soon. Having shot for a daily soap, I am used to seeing the end product on-air within a week's time. It's like if I have shot for a particular scene today, the episode featuring me would go on-air within a few days. It would hardly take a week. On the other hand, the shooting of my debut movie was wrapped a year ago. So, it has been a long wait. The long wait is something new to me."
