Sanjana Chidanand has joined Brahmagantu and has already started shooting for the upcoming episodes of the show. The actress will be seen playing the character 'Shonali', a celebrity, in the show.
Sanjana is likely to play a guest appearance, as per sources. However, a confirmation from the makers is awaited.
On the career front, Sanjana Chidananda is not new to Kannada television. Having made her acting debut with the popular daily soap 'Kulavadu', the actress then went on to feature in shows like Jeevana Chaitra, Bharjari Comedy, Lahari, and many others.
She became popular for her stint in Bigg Boss Kannada season four. She was in fact one of the most controversial contestants of the season.
Meanwhile, Brahmagantu recently completed a successful run of three years. The daily soap is one of the most viewed daily soaps of late; thanks to its compelling narrative.
The plot revolves around an overweight girl Geetha, who is often called ‘dummi’ (fatty). While many exploit her for their personal gains, innocent Geetha doesn't get offended as she is kind and forgiving. She wants to get married to her prince charming in a gala wedding ceremony.
