Actor Shri Mahadev surprises his on-screen mom Swathi on her birthday amid lockdown

Kannada actress Swathi, who is one of the most popular on-screen mommies of Kannada television, turned a year older yesterday (May 17). Wishes have been pouring for the actress from her near and dear ones. Many celebs have been wishing the actress which left her overwhelmed.

On the other hand, the actress also had a surprise visitor yesterday to make her day special amid the lockdown. Actor Shri Mahadev, who was earlier seen playing the role of her on-screen son in a popular daily soap travelled all the way to the actresses' house to surprise her on her special day.

That's not all, Shri also baked a yummy chocolate cake by himself for the birthday girl. He took to his social media handle to give a glimpse of the simple birthday celebration of Swathi by staying indoor.

Shri on his Instagram handles wrote, "I prepared a chocolate cake as easy as I prepare Maggi and put it in a Tupperware box and headed straight to the birthday girl's place. That's how I celebrate my lallu mom's birthday." (sic)

Interestingly, he also mentioned, "Social distancing cannot be done with my loved ones."

Besides, Shri has been active in helping needy people during the lockdown. The actor stepped out of his house along with his team of friends and visited the economically weaker sections in Bangalore to serve them with food and other necessary items.
