A riverside wedding for Shruti Naidu’s TV show, Sangharsha

It looks like weddings are the most popular occurrences in Kannada daily soaps of late and it is no different for Sangharsha. The serial, directed by Shruti Naidu, shot at the picturesque Gosai Ghat adjoining the Kashi Vishweswara Temple in Srirangapatna recently. Shruti's previous serials have seen her showcase weddings at palace hotels or resorts in a grand manner.This time, she thought of breaking the monotony and having a riverside wedding in the serial.
Shruti tells us, "The wedding scenes were shot at the beautiful Gosai Ghat. There is a major twist in the story where the main leads, Raja and Indira, played by Rohit and Tejaswini Shekar, get married on the banks of River Cauvery. Vanitha Vasu, who plays Bhairadevi the village chief, gets to know that her son Raja is marrying her enemy (IAS officer Indira). The scenes have a high drama quotient and it eventually sees the couple being separate
