Television actress and popular voice-over artist Deepa Bhaskar, who was last seen on television as Urmilaa in the comedy show Majaa Talkies, is excited about her brand new home. Sharing the news on her Instagram page, along with pictures, an ecstatic Deepa posted, “Grateful and thankful to new beginnings #gruhapravesha(sic).” The house warming ceremony was attended by only a few people due to covid restrictions.
On the work front, viewers will recall Deepa as Subbalakshmi from the TV show Subbalakshmi Samsara.
This show was one among those that ended abruptly post the first lockdown due to the pandemic last year. Deepa returned to television with Majaa Talkies, hosted by Srujan Lokesh. She was a key member of the Majaa Talkies team which had Kuri Prathap, Mandya Ramesh,
Tharanga Vishwa, Shwetha Changappa, Aparna, Pawan Kumar and many others.
Deepa has acted in serials like Male Billu, Preeti Illada Mele, Chakravaka, Paarijatha, Anavarana, Paapa Pandu, Ninolumeindale, Madarangi and Saakshi. Years back, her career began as a voice-over artist for the film Abhi, for the female protagonist Ramya. After that, Deepa went on to be a voice over artist for actresses in over 250 Kannada films, including super hit films like Jogi, Mungaru Male, Duniya, Super, Sarathi and Gaja.
