From the gossip to behind the scenes action and her chemistry with Siddharth, she tells us all about it... Share some interesting tidbits about your one-month long journey in Splitsvilla? Has it changed you as a person?I can never change and I will always be the same Sakshi that I have always been. The show just gave me a platform because I was a struggling actor in Mumbai but outside that city, in Delhi and Pune, I am a college girl who is into modelling. After the show, I might not have changed as a person but peoples outlook towards me has certainly changed. I am getting so many offers, a special treatment from clients and the ultimate celebrity status. Its so good and such a nice feeling. One month in the villa was absolute fun. It was like a relaxing holiday that was spicy, full of fights and politics and the main thing was my love towards Siddharth and his feelings for me. Talk about tasks, bajate raho sessions or the dumping grounds, it was an awesome journey and I enjoyed each bit of it. My connection with Siddharth was the best thing that has happened to me.Has the game show Splitsvilla where love is war taught you anything special love and romance? One thing that I have learned about love is that people are two-faced, so you cant really trust anyone easily for any relationship. I feel after spending one month in the villa with so many people, I am a bit more mature and can now take better decisions, or at least strive more towards it.Splitsvilla was all about finding love and facing the war that came along. How did you deal with it?In the villa, war was far more than the love. I and Siddharth had a connection and others on the show tried their best to break it by all means. They added spice, bitched about me, added spice to the conversations, so in a way they were trying to cut the competition that I gave them. Girls especially never wanted to see me and Siddharth together because he was the king and they had to make connections with him in order to survive on the show. Thus, they kept saying wrong things about me, made game plans, and spread rumours to take Siddharths attention off me. If not Siddharth, who else do you think deserved to win this show with you? And among girls, who was the biggest competition throughout?Honestly, I do not think there was any other guy better than Siddharth. If at all, in the worst scenario, maybe Mohit had a chance. Among the girls, no one could ever compete with me, especially Joanna, who stood nowhere in front of me. She was the queen and had to survive till the end without performing any task or facing the dumping. So, I never looked up to her as competition. Also, let it be figure, looks or performance, Joanna could never match up to my standards. What remained your strategy and game plan to survive till the end? There was no game plan seriously, as I was just going with the flow. Whatever tasks came up, I did them instantly without planning much because on the show, nothing happened as we expected thus all plans were a waste. The only strategy was to maintain my relations with Siddharth as others tried to sour things. Also, I gave a damn to what other people in the villa thought about my connection with Siddharth as it was for the audiences to understand and I am glad they did.Considering all negativity that revolved around you in the villa, did you really expect that you would win the show?Yes, I was 101 per cent confident that I would win it. And when it was Joanna against me in the last competition, I was clear that no matter what, I have to beat this girl. I was like, whoever it may be, I would defeat her. Moreover, Mohit and Joanna were the king and queen earlier and later Siddharth became the king. So you see, these three had the title but I never got that power yet I struggled my way till the end and won the show.Hosting a show on MTV is something, which you would have only dreamt of so far, how does it feel to see the dream come true? It feels amazing. I feel like I am on top of the world. My parents, friends, relatives are so happy with me. When I look at them, the smiles and pride on their faces bring me immense satisfaction. Also, when I go out, people would go crazy and follow me, my hair style, dressing sense and so much. As for hosting a show on MTV is concerned, I am really excited about it. Till now, I have been a college going girl who is shabby most of the times roaming here and there but now its time for a makeover both for my personality and for my confidence too. There will of course be a change in the way I dress, talk, behave, and live my life. What according to you is the best way to attract someone of opposite sex? Did this quality actually help you survive till the end in the villa? For me, its your body language, the inner person and the way you look matter the most. In the villa also, it was the inner person Sakshi who remained the way she is. Though its not that I attracted Siddharth but he himself came to me the moment I entered the villa. He started flirting with me by saying oh thank god you have come to the villa' and things like that.Give us three quick and interesting dating tips.Firstly, dont go on a blind date with any random guy because its very important to know the other person, so be careful. Secondly, be yourself, remain positive and confident and never show your negative feelings, as first impression would be the last on the guy. I feel artificial attributes wont take you anywhere in a relationship. Lastly, I think make a wise choice as to whom you shall go on a date with. The guy should have good money; good looks, a good car and he needs to be well-spoken, sensible with a good sense of humour, display etiquette and be able to impress a girl well. Now, since Splitsvilla is over, do you think you have found your true love?Siddharth & I are still together. We go out on dates, clubbing, shopping, dinners, etc and we are enjoying it. My parents have met him and my mom is pretty happy, while my dad is a bit upset as he fears that the guy might be faking it or is artificial.
