Yesha Harsora: Daily soaps give me the right exposure and experience
Jagadhatri actress Yesha Harsora is enjoying her time as an actress on the small screen. She prefers doing it, as she feels that TV is a medium that can be watched by everyone and gives her the required visibility.
She said, "I feel the work people are doing right now is very good, but for me, it’s important that my family—my relatives, cousins—can watch me on television. That’s why I prefer daily soaps. They also give consistency in work."
She also shared that family dramas are something everyone at home enjoys and added, "I feel daily soaps give me the right exposure and experience. Later on, I’ll think about doing OTT projects."
Yesha is a traveler at heart, and though she shared that she doesn't have a favorite destination, she has a list. She said, "Greece, Italy, Paris, London, Monaco, and many places in India, like Kedarnath. I really want to travel, but time doesn’t always allow it. Whenever I get a holiday, I try to plan my day properly."
And when she has a day off, she enjoys spending it with her friends and family. She shared, "But I also like doing things on my own—waking up early, skincare, yoga, and gym. Even if I do nothing and just lie on the bed, I’m okay with that."
"I also like sketching and painting. I’ve been doing these since school, and if I stop completely, I don’t feel good," she added.
But even her days off are packed. She said, "My schedule is very hectic. There’s a four-hour movie people have recommended, saying actors should definitely watch it. I want to, but right now I really need sleep, so I’ll watch it when it comes on TV."
Speaking of movies, she spoke about her favorite actors, Shahid Kapoor and Akshay Kumar. "I especially like Akshay Kumar because of his discipline. He’s fun-loving but extremely focused. He wakes up early, sleeps on time, doesn’t party unnecessarily, and takes his health seriously. Given the kind of work we do, I think it’s great to look up to someone like him," Yesha ended.
