The episode of
Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai
starts with Naina and Sameer performing a pooja as they got their first pay cheque. Sameer and Naina buy new things for their house and celebrate the success by buying a gift for Naina's father Rakesh.
Sameer and Naina spend some romantic moment together and pillow fight. Preeti teases Sameer and Naina from her balcony. Sameer gets happy as people start recognising him on streets. Naina likes a gold earring, but doesn't want to buy after learning its price. Sameer forces her to buy and soon realises he doesn't have that much money. He asks the jeweller, if he can pay later and, but the latter doesn't agree. Shubham comes there with his mother and pays the remaining amount. Naina hestiates and doesn't accept it, but Shubham's mother forces her to take it.
Shubham's mother comes home and explains them, the importance of saving money. She taunts them for behaving careless and asks Sameer to find a job. Adtiya comes home to take Sameer for an audition. He tells him about a coordinator who is casting for a TV show. Sameer gets ready to meet the casting director and Naina's father also decides to take tuition.
Naina secretly decides to go for a job interview. Sameer meets the female casting director. She tries to get close to him. She tells him that he is fit for the role and he will try to do something extra to get the role. Sameer gets nervous and comes out running. Next goes Aditya and the casting director does same with him. Even he comes out in haste and they run away from there.
Naina goes for her interview and the interviewer asks her few questions which she answers it with full confidence. Elsewhere, Aditya gets angry and frustrated and gets emotional. Sameer hugs and consoles him.
Naina comes home and shows Sameer a letter which states that she has been hired has been appointed as intern writer.
