Speaking about the recent coronavirus effect, Shivangi shared that she feels as a celebrity it is their responsibility to spread awareness. She said, “People should wear masks at all times, avoid coughing or sneezing in the open, and cover their mouth while doing so. We should avoid public gatherings, use sanitisers and wash our hands thoroughly and frequently throughout the day. I make sure to spread the word around even on the set of my show, which has a large number of people. It is our responsibility and if each one of us will do our bit, I am sure that we will help ourselves and others, too. It is my request to people to opt for prevention rather than waiting for cure.”
