The episode of
Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai
begins with the nurse congratulating Kartik on the birth of a baby. Kartik asks whose baby it is and the nurse replies that it is Keerti’s baby. He is happy but sad to know that Keerti is still in coma. The doctor informs Kartik that Naira has to go through a cesarean operation to deliver the baby. Kartik goes to meet Naira and tells her about the surgery. She gets scared.
Naira says that she wants to have a normal delivery. But Kartik convinces her to undergo surgery. Naira delivers a baby girl. Kartik asks the doctor if he could hold the baby. The doctor immediately shifts it to the special care until it is a premature baby. Kartik takes the baby in his hands and talks to her for a minute but the nurse comes and takes the baby away.
Kartik is very happy and goes to talk to Naira. The family members are on their way to the hospital. Suhasini is extremely worried for Keerti and Naira, but Manish calms her down. Kartik goes to the ward to meet both the babies. He talks to Keerti’s baby boy and then asks about his own baby girl. The nurse says that his daughter died as she was premature and was weak.
Kartik is shattered on knowing about it. He wonders what to do and how to tell Naira about it.
