The latest episode of ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ begins with Armaan and Abhira remembering all the times that they have spent together over the years, and wondering how they cannot fall for one another. The two later on bump into one another, however, he lets her fall to the floor and quickly leaves, wondering about how nothing can happen between them.
Maira tells Armaan that she has a surprise for him
Later on, Maira meets Armaan and apologises to him for everything that she has done. She then tells him that she has an expensive surprise for him and asks him to wait until Aryan’s sangeet ceremony, leaving him confused.
As the family prepares for the sangeet ceremony, Vidya comments about how there should not be any couple dances. She mentions that everyone should form pairs of three for their performance. Manoj then gets angry and comments about how they are preparing for the festivities, despite knowing that Kaveri is not feeling well. Kajal also comments on the same and mentions how the loud music will keep Kaveri happy. Manisha quips that they are only following the doctor’s orders to keep her occupied and happy. Though Manoj comments about how he wants the sangeet to be cancelled, Krish informs him that Kaveri was the one who requested for the event to happen, which is why they cannot back out now.
Disha and her family arrive for the sangeet ceremony
Later in the day, Disha and her family arrive at the Poddar house in order to celebrate and take part in the ceremony. Nakul, Sanjay, and Manoj get up on stage first to perform and start off the celebrations. Though they try to get Damyanti to dance, she refuses and says that no one can force her to do so.
Later, Mamta, Kajal and Manisha are called on stage to perform. Mamta however, hesitates, prompting Abhira to reassure her that she has the right to celebrate her daughter’s wedding rather than sitting away and crying. Meanwhile, throughout the event, Armaan continues to avoid Abhira, even when she tries to talk to him.
