‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ March 11 written update: Armaan defends Abhira against Vidya’s taunts

The episode starts with Abhira caring for Kaveri. Armaan comes into the room and tells her to leave; however, Kaveri refuses. She also says no when he tries to feed her, after which Abhira feeds her. Armaan stands aside and reads a poem, which makes Kaveri fall asleep. Abhira then tells Armaan that she is only back in the Poddar house because of Kaveri and nothing else.

Meher manipulates Vidya

The scene shifts to Meher and Vidya meeting up to talk about Abhira. Meher manipulates Vidya and tells her that Abhira is back in their house to settle her dues. She tells her that Abhira must have realized that the redevelopment project meant that she was losing out on a lot of money, and must have come to the Poddar house to settle. Vidya gets infuriated by hearing this.

At the Poddar house, Tanya and Abhira meet, and Tanya praises her for being so strong even after everything that has happened over the past 8 years. She then confides in Abhira and tells her that she is with Krish, and there is no love between the two of them. Abhira tells her that she wished for a big family, as she was raised by a single mother; however, she was not able to get all of that. She encourages Tanya to move forward and do what is right for her.

Vidya questions Abhira’s character while Armaan defends her

Later in the day, Vidya sees Abhira with Armaan’s shirt while the former was folding it, and makes assumptions. She calls a family meeting and drags Abhira downstairs. She tells everyone that she saw her hugging Armaan’s shirt and that she is here to woo him again.

Vidya continues to taunt Abhira and question her character again and again as all of the family members listen and watch in shock. Armaan comes into the room, however, and shouts for his mother to stop. Vidya expresses shock that he is taking Abhira’s side, though he simply says that he was respecting a woman. He tells Vidya to apologize to Abhira, shocking everyone.

The episode ends with Abhira and Armaan talking in Kaveri’s room. Armaan apologizes to her and asks whether he should talk to Kaveri about her being at the Poddar house. Abhira refuses and says that she will stay until Kaveri gets better. She also comments that Armaan has a habit of hurting her and then apologizing for it again and again.
