Remember how the lead cast of Seeta Aur Geeta had been replaced even before it went on air? Something similar seems to be happening with Vikram Bhatt’s untitled thriller on the small screen.
Apparently the lead protagonist Pooja Bose (of Tujh Sang Preet Lagayi Sajna fame) along with Aham Sharma and six others have been replaced with other actors even before the show could go on air! Some others have been roped in and one of them is Manasi Parekh, who wasn’t seen on TV past year.Manasi, when contacted, admitted that she was playing the lead in the show. “One of the main reasons I signed it is because it’s a thriller and not another saas-bahu soap,” she smiles. Manasi is happy that Vikram would be directing it himself. “I play a smart, calculative woman with a lot of shades,” she adds. She is aware that she has replaced another actress. “But I wasn’t aware of the logistics. Once I sign a show, I’m too focussed on my work to bother about anything else,” she says.
