"Will share Eid special food with those around me": Gulfam Khan

"Even though my family stays in the same city and some even in the vicinity, we won't be meeting each other, in accordance to lockdown rules. It is only going to be my husband and me. But Eid, has always been about positivity and spirit, so I will be making good food, and we will distribute it to our security personnel, housekeeping staff whoever is coming, our neighbours. That way, we are going to keep the spirit alive. It is not going to be dampened by anything - and we will wear nice clothes and stay happy with whatever we have" shares the Naamkarann actress.
Talking about the current situation of the country, she says that indeed it is a difficult time, but that too shall pass. "Yes, there is pandemic, and our fellow couuntrymen in eastern India - West Bengal, Odisha had to face a terrible natural calamity like cyclone Amphan. It is a sad time, but by sharing happiness and positivity and praying for peace and harmony we should hope for all this to pass. But we are hoping by the second Eid things would be better. That is something that all of us can look forward to" she adds.
The actress, who is known for her role in Aladdin: Naam Toh Suna Hoga, concludes by sharing her takeaway from this time in lockdown. "This whole period has also shown that humans can co-exist with nature, because of us and our greed the planet was sufffering. During this lockdown it has somewhat healed itself. Let's hope we take this as a lesson and learn to live in harmony"
