Both are out of their TV shows, rather abruptly. Sehban’s character was killed on the show as the makers wanted to focus on the saas-bahu track. Says the actor, “I would not like to talk about this, but yes, I was not aware that my character will die so soon in the show. Anyways, it was a great experience playing Akshay. People loved my character.”

Meanwhile, in the case of Dakssh too, there’s a ‘saas-bahu’ angle to his exit. He says, “Everything revolves around ratings on television. Saas-bahu tracks rake in better ratings, so they made the saas (Kajal Nishad) the sole negative character. I didn’t have much to do after that, so I thought it was better to quit the show.”
