Why Purvi quit her TV show in just 20 days

After joining the cast of 'Dream Girl' with lots of expectations, Purvi Mundada quit the show in just 20 days. The reason? Change in story track didn’t leave much scope for her character to develop. She has informed the makers of her decision, and says things were sorted out amicably between them.

Purvi says, “My character Richa in the show was completely opposite from what I played in 'Nisha Aur Uske Cousins'.She is modern, outgoing and very positive. I was promised a track with a lot of potential, and even a romantic angle opposite Kunal (Verma), who plays Karan Roy in the show. But the storyline suddenly underwent major changes and I guess they wanted to wrap up the plot of the existing characters. They weren’t sure when my track would start as well.”
She adds, “I don’t believe in playing characters that are not challenging or sticking with a show where I have no scope to perform. So, I decided to quit the show without any animosity. It’s a wonderful team and I hope to work with them soon.”
