In a recent interview on Paul's podcast, Bharti recalled her challenging childhood, revealing the struggles her family faced in extreme poverty. She shared that her brother worked at a shop, while her sister and mother sewed blankets and cooked for others. Bharti expressed that she often avoided going home, saying, "I didn’t feel like going home. I would stay in college with my friends, knowing I would have to face poverty."

She recounted days when they had little to eat, often making black tea and eating parathas or salt with roti. The constant sound of the sewing machine still haunts her today, reminding her of those tough times. Bharti emphasised her gratitude for her current life, hoping her family never faces such hardships again.

Bharti is married to screenwriter and television producer Harsh Limbachiya. The couple tied the knot on December 3, 2017, after dating for about eight years. They first met on the sets of "Comedy Circus," where Bharti was a contestant and Haarsh worked as a scriptwriter.
