Welcoming a baby girl on the first day of Navaratra feels like a blessing: Arpit Ranka who turned father again

The very first day of Navratri brought good news for Arpit Ranka who's become a father again. He welcomed his bundle of joy, a baby girl on Thursday afternoon. Arpit’s wife Nidhi delivered a healthy baby girl at a Mumbai Hospital. Sharing his joy, Arpit says, “The feeling cannot be expressed in words, I am very very happy. Both my wife Nidhi and the baby are healthy. In a couple of days, they will be discharged from the hospital. And I cannot wait to take my little daughter to my home.” Already a father of a five-year-old son Arnidh, the actor calls himself lucky to have a baby girl this time around. “Though I never had any gender preference when it comes to children, but welcoming a baby girl on the occasion of Navaratra sthapana is nothing but Goddess Durga’s blessing for me and my entire family. I feel truly blessed to welcome a little goddess when the entire nation is celebrating and welcoming Maa to their homes. Though the doctors had said that the expected delivery date was October 6, maybe our little girl wanted to come home during Navaratra.”
Arpit’s parents have reached Mumbai from Bhilwara to welcome the newborn. “Welcoming a child into the family calls for a big celebration.
