However, since the pandemic struck, close-knit, intimate, and ‘family only’ weddings have taken over grand scale weddings, giving the bride, groom and the family the opportunity to enjoy every bit of the new beginning. These TV celebs, too, chose to have an intimate wedding. From Rahul Vaidya-Disha Parmar to Shiny Doshi-Lavesh Khairajani, here are some of our favourite TV actors who recently got hitched.

Rahul and Disha’s wedding was nothing less than a dreamy affair as the newlyweds looked every bit regal during all pre and post-wedding rituals. The Bigg Boss 14 first runner-up proposed his ladylove on national television while still being a part of the reality show. Talking to us about his wedding prep, the singer, in an exclusive interview, had said, “I didn’t get any time to plan anything. But I guess that’s also a lot of fun–the fact that you don’t get much time to plan it meticulously and deliver in a limited time. I am very excited… the excitement level is over the roof.”

The Pandya Store actress, who recently married beau Lavesh Khairajani in an intimate wedding ceremony on Thursday, July 15, had managed to keep their relationship of three years under wraps till the last minute. Not only was it a close-knit wedding, there were only 25 attendees in total keeping in mind the ongoing pandemic situation. In an exclusive interview with us, Shiny said, “If things get better by November, we would love to throw a big party.”

This funny jodi’s dreamy wedding, which took place recently, was quite talked about. The Kapil Sharma Show fame Sugandha Mishra and comedian Sanket made their relationship public with a bunch of dreamy pictures from their pre-wedding shoot. While the couple was planning on getting hitched last year, they had to postpone it owing to the ongoing pandemic. The couple’s wedding couture was sure an eye-catcher!

The next couple on our list is Sana Sayyad and Imaad Shamsi, who got married last month. Sana, who has been part of shows like Divya Drishti and Lockdown Ki Love Story, married Imaad who is an entrepreneur. They have known each other since their college days. While they had known each other for almost eight years, it was only after her last show Lockdown Ki Love Story ended that the couple took their relationship ahead.

With weddings going intimate and low-key since the pandemic, actor Akshay Kharodia also had a truly dreamy wedding. The Pandya Store actor got married to his longtime girlfriend Divya Punetha on June 19. The couple exchanged vows in the presence of their family members at Divya’s house in Dehradun. The wedding pictures of the couple are surely going to give everyone some major wedding pic goals!

Ankit, who has been a part of shows like Agneephera, Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya and Bigg Boss 9, married Rashi Puri, an NRI from Nigeria, early last month. The couple, who had an arranged marriage, tied the knot in a low-key ceremony with only 10 people in attendance.

Although the project for which both Yashu Dhiman and Pulkkit Sandhu were roped in never released, their love surely blossomed. After dating for four years, the couple tied the knot this year on June 24 in New Delhi.
