We have evolved so much as a couple: Madalsa Chakraborty

Married for seven years, Madalsa Sharma and her husband, Mimoh Chakraborty (Mithun Chakraborty’s son), celebrated their anniversary last month. Talking about their relationship, the actress tells us, “We’ve evolved so much as a couple. It’s like being best friends now — you just know what the other person needs.”

Having a partner who understands the demands of the entertainment industry has only strengthened their bond. “It helps when your partner understands the kind of hours this work demands. But I believe that even if you’re in different fields, what matters is respect and support,” says the actress, who was last seen playing Kavya in the TV show Anupama.

While Madalsa occasionally shares light-hearted content on social media, she prefers to keep her personal life away from the spotlight. “There’s nothing to prove to anyone. This is our journey — and we like to keep it ours.” And when it comes to navigating career choices, Madalsa leans on the people closest to her. “I always take my mom’s (actress Sheela David) and Mimoh’s advice before taking on anything. Everyone has a different perception, so I get a wider perspective before making a decision.”
