Actress Barkha Bisht, who separated from her husband and actor Indraneil Sengupta three years ago, have acted together in TV shows Pyaar Ke Do Naam: Ek Radha Ek Shyam (2008) when they first met on the sets and Doli Saja Ke (2008). The estranged couple, who had never acted in a film, shot for a project along with daughter Meira during the lockdown. The film Chalti Rahe Zindagi, which revolves around the lives of three families living in a society, will release soon.
Barkha said, "We shot for the film during the lockdown in 2020 and at that time Indraneil and I were happy together. We weren't separated then. Since it was lockdown in 2020, we didn't have anything to do and were just waiting for things to get better. At that time, director Aarti S Bagdi came up with an interesting story of three women living in a housing society. My role was about a single mother, whose husband had cheated on her. And Indraneil was playing a guy living in the same building, who had also separated from his wife."
Sharing how, her daughter Meira made her debut in the film, Barkha added, "We forced Meira to play my daughter because at that time we did not know which child actor would agree to play the part. Meira is a very shy girl and she would have never agreed but since it was a short role, we convinced her."
Barkha shared, "Post shooting for the film, we separated in 2022. It was a good experience shooting for the film, because the film revolved around three families living in a building."
