We are excited to become parents again: Aditi Dev Sharma and Sarwar Ahuja

Actor couple Aditi Dev Sharma and Sarwar Ahuja are now parents to a baby girl. The couple announced on social media on Monday about the arrival of their second child. They have a son called Sartaaj Ahuja. The baby girl was born on October 10.

Aditi said, "I have always wanted a sibling for my son and though Sarwar and I both wanted a girl child, we were quite neutral till the baby arrived. I am currently in Lucknow at my mom's home and Sarwar is busy shooting for a show in Mumbai. We are both excited that we have become parents again and it is nice for my son Sartaaj to have a little sister. I feel we are blessed."

The actress, who was last seen in the show Katha Ankahee, which wrapped up in December 2023. She said, "After Katha I was hoping and praying that I become a mother again and it happened. Both Sarwar and I kept away from announcing on social media because our friends and family knew about it. We are also not much into posting on social media. So after a month of the baby, we thought now we should post."

On the work front, Aditi said, "I want to do meatier roles when I get back to work. Something very different from what I did before. Katha was a well-written show. I want to do something challenging, the medium does not matter. It is important to do different roles and experiment otherwise you get slotted in same roles."
