War of the tweets: Twinkle and Bhagat's 'light-hearted' spat

In January , Twinkle had tweeted about wanting to change her name to Chetali Bhagat (this is also part of her blog's bio).
On Monday , @GuruGastro tweeted to her, saying, `You are a an amazing writer, you don't need to change your name to Chetali Bhagat :)'.

But Twinkle, with the kind of insight that we can only assume came from spending two hours of her life watching the first episode of this season's Nach Baliye, knew that Chetan was doing something right.He's a banker-turned-writer who was judging a dance reality show (following in the illustrious footsteps of Sajid Khan) and claiming that he was more interested in the couple's relationship than dancing.What's more aspirational than that?
So Twinkle wrote back, saying, “I do! He gets to judge NachBaliye and i get to judge if that gross thing on my floor is dog puke or poop #SuchIsLife“. At this point, Chetan took a break from psychoanalysing the contestants' relationships on the show and joined the conversation with “well, i'd say u have the bigger challenge girl..btw, how do u tell the difference between the two anyway?“ Twinkle responded with “it's a short life-if lucky enough 2 get opportunities to do diverse things then one should @chetan_bhagat write a bestseller abt it too :)“.

In response to this, Chetan threw major shade at her, saying “u nailed it..it is YOLO..nobody offered me barsaat, or baadshah..else u know“. And because nobody insults 90s Bollywood and gets away with it, Twinkle brought out the big guns. “Well if u were taller,had more hair u could have got bobby deol's role & if were way cooler,than Srk would be jobless:)“ The smiley didn't hide the snark, and it was clear that Twinkle had won this round. Chetan is even writing a new book about it. He responded with “alas..i know my limitations..*takes laptop and types new story with pathos*“. And because no one understands Twitter trolls like Chetan Bhagat, he also wrote, “Ok seriously guys, was just a fun banter with @mrsfunnybones She is fun and has a sense of humour in her tweets. Silly to read more into it.“
But it was too late. Twitter was already taking sides and both Twinkle and Chetan were trending.
