Vivian Dsena rests speculation about conversion: I started following Islam in 2019, I find solace in praying five times a day
Vivan Dsena, who was last seen in TV show Sirf Tum, has always kept his personal life away from the limelight. However, it's now out in the open that the actor got married last year and is now father of a four-month-old baby girl. In his recent interview with Bombay Times, the actor also talked about following Islam even though he was born a Christian.
Converting into Islam
Vivian, who rose to fame with shows like Kasamh Se and Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, revealed in his interview to BT that he is following Islam since 2019. He said, "Nothing much has changed in my life. I was born Christian, and I follow Islam now. I started following Islam during the holy month of Ramadan in 2019. I find a lot of peace and solace in praying five times a day. So, here I put all the unsought speculations to rest." The actor is also learning Arabic, he revealed in his Q&A with fans. The actor had also posted a note for fans at the start of Ramadan. It read, "Almighty. On this blessed first Friday in #Ramadan make us among those who fast sincerely for your sake. Vivian confirms he is married and has a daughter
A few days ago reports of Vivian's marriage and baby came out and when BT got in touch with the actor, he confirmed the same. He said, "Yes, I am married and have a four-month-old daughter. We would have announced the news of my marriage and the arrival of my daughter, but when I thought the time was right."
Opens up about marriage and daughter's name
The actor revealed that he got married with Nouran in a private ceremony in Egypt a year ago. He added, "Becoming a father is a dream come true and the most wonderful feeling.
